Financial and Insurance

Our top priority is to provide you with affordable, high quality orthodontic care that fits your budget. Our flexible payment plans are designed to fit each person’s individual financial situation.

Being sensitive to the fact that different people have different needs, we provide the following payment options:

In-Office Payment Plan

  • An initial payment is due when treatment begins.
  • The balance is paid in monthly installments over the anticipated length of treatment. This plan is interest free (i.e. no finance charge)
  • We accept cash, check, debit cards and Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express credit cards.
  • Automatic monthly debits from your credit card, checking or savings account are available.
  • Insurance benefits may reduce your payments.

Low Down/ Low Monthly Payment Plan

  • We can offer an Extended In-Office Payment Plan with a low initial payment and lower monthly payments that extend longer than the period of treatment.
  • Extended payment plans may incur an added financial charge.

Pre-payment Discount

  • There is a fee discount if you make payment in full.
  • Insurance benefits may also reduce your payment due.

Other Discounts

  • Family Discount: A discount is applied to treatment of multiple family members.
  • Multi-phase Treatment Discount: If a patient has had phase I early treatment in our office, then a discount is applied to the phase II treatment.
  • Parent Treatment Discount: A $500 discount is applied to the treatment of a parent if treatment begins within 60 days of their child starting treatment or within 60 days of their child’s braces being removed.
  • Company Flex Plan: Your employer may offer a medical spending account which allows you to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for your medical expenses. Please contact your employer for details.

Insurance Coverage

  • We will be happy to assist you in determining whether your insurance company will cover your orthodontic treatment and assist you in filing a claim when treatment begins.
  • Orthodontic insurance typically covers a percentage of the treatment cost up to a pre-determined lifetime maximum.
  • If insurance benefits are available, then we can usually deduct the anticipated benefit from what you owe. As such, your insurance benefits can reduce both your initial payment and your monthly payments.
  • We are a preferred provider for Delta Dental of Minnesota.
